I have always been fascinated by how all manner of people and things in this world interact and evolve in a seemingly infinite cycle. Looking beyond the surface and challenging my own ideas and what I see in front of me has instilled a never-ending curiosity that has been my North star on my journey, from earning my Materials Science and Engineering degree to achieving my Master’s in Chemical Engineering and now as I continue pursuing my passion as a Product Designer. I use this curiosity to complement my attention to detail with an outside-the-box approach and combine this with my skills in research and statistical analysis to find unique and optimal solutions that cater to the right people and to continuously build on my craft each day.

I believe in the transformative power of design, both individually and interpersonally. Product Design is the path through which I’m able to connect with people by creating an environment where they can feel more understood, empowered and joyful.  It also provides the opportunity for me to contribute to creating a more relatable, pleasant, and equitable world, which has been endlessly fulfilling. This has helped to fuel me as I strive to use my creativity and analytical skills to make myself a small but meaningful member of a big change towards a greener environment not only for us but also for our future generations. I utilize my skills in research and product development working across product strategy, user and market research to define goals through an end-to-end, user-centric approach, running usability testing sessions and then optimizing the design through cycles of iteration and featuring eye-catching UI designs to the final mockup.

In my free time, if not playing my dulcimer or ukulele you’ll often find me doing yoga, watching foreign films or engaging in other creative outlets like repurposing old furniture to bring a new spirit out of something left behind by the world :) A little spark of happiness is what keeps me going.
